Getting written up in Deadline is a sort of milestone for artists in the film and television industry. It's something I've been waiting to happen for years, so I was surprised to wake up one morning with a text from my assistant director Cameron Mitchell with a link to a deadline article featuring me.
The Deadline article was written by Andreas Wiseman. The article is mostly about the wonderful co-stars of my latest feature film directorial effort "A Sudden Family", written by Rufus A. Dorsey. Freda and Louis were such professionals on set, wonderful to work with, and delivered some of my favorite performances in the film. Working with legends like them was such a treat and I'm glad to have my name attached to a project they worked in, getting to direct them is just the cherry on top.
Below are some screenshots from the article, but if you want to read it you can click here. This feels like another significant step as I make my way through this industry. Proud of the work the cast and crew of this film did to garner such attention!
