2025 Speculative Budget Info Report

As we enter 2026 I once again compiled the data from the projects I did speculative budgets for in 2025. This data looks at the 65 projects I completed budgets for, looking at trends to help grant insight to people looking to create their next project.

While obviously my sample size is small, I do think it gives an interesting snapshot of where independent cinema is largely moving. Some of the statistics presented were stark this year, especially when compared to 2024.
